Marine Conservation:

Join a group of progressive and forwarding thinking volunteers and work in marine conservation. Mexico has one of the world’s largest and most unique coastlines.Preservation and conservation of these rare marine areas are essential to the survival of thousands of different, particular to the area, species. This truly unique exchange between man and animal is a chance of a lifetime to help preserve the inhabitants of our world’s most precious resource: water. This is a possibility to work on one of many of Mexico’s beaches. Work in the field of marine conservation on one of many of Mexico’s lakes. LakeChapala, for instance, is located only one hour away from Guadalajara and has been the subject of many debates, because year by year it has been shrinking at an alarming rate. Other areas of interest include, working in the Gulf of Mexico in Cancun, Vera Cruz or Playa del Carmen and the huge coastline on the west side of the country on the beaches of Puerto Vallarta, Matzatlan, Manzanillo, Ixtapa, and Acapulco. Mexico’s ecosystem is inhabited by some of the rarest and largest species of birds, reptiles, fish and the mammals who thrive in them. This is work that really makes a difference between life and death! Help save the habitats of the sea turtles, parrots, pelicans, storks, toucans, lizards, tortoises, crocodiles, amphibians, and thousands of species of fish.
