Playgrounds:

Be someone who implements positive changes; ones that are the cause of putting smiles on children’s faces. The playground building programs exist in Mexico to bring joy to the children who are all too often faced with the realities of a hard life. Recreation and creativity for these unfortunate children are rarities. The children deserve a chance to be able to build upon one of the most integral part of their lives while they can, and that is play time. The playground can be a place of refuge for these impoverished children and enough to keep them off the streets. The volunteers in this situation can know in their hearts that they have been the provider of a constructive venture.Growth can take place for both the person and the children who benefit, as one would be exposed to Spanish language immersion.Imagine working side by side with local builders and in the process establishing a bond. This process is an excellent demonstration of team work which can be integrated as a lesson for future work situations. One becomes a recognized part of the community. Results are concrete of this labor of love and the legacy of the project lives on.
